There are criteria set out by Southampton City Council as to which surveyor can be used to undertake your survey. Please ensure that your chosen surveyor complies or the application will not be valid and you will have to pay the full fee to the council.

My qualifications are as follows:

- I have been one of the Approved Independent Surveyors for six years, working with Southampton City Council in all wards, and in that time I have undertaken in excess of 1000 surveys specifically for landlords who need to comply with the Additional or Mandatory Licensing Scheme

- I attended the two day HHSRS course in 2008 and have undertaken in excess of 1000 surveys      since that time using this methodology

-I have worked in both the Building Surveying and the Environmental Health fields permantly for the last 8 years

- I am registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health who provide Continuing Professional Development

-I have undertaken in the region of1000 surveys within the Southampton area specifically using the LACORS guidence

-I am fully insured to undertake the HMO Surveys
