Damp Surveys

During the winter months many tenants and owners are having trouble with condensation and damp.

The normal method of dealing with the problem is to ask a damp treatment company to inspect and specifiy the works required, which they can then undertake.

I take a different approach as an independant surveyor, I can come and inspect the property and specifiy a plan of action that will usually be less invasive and allow a staged approach to rectifying the problems.

Sometimes invasive chemical DPCs are the only way to approach the problem, but often working with the building and respecting the methods used by the original builder will allow us to solve the problem at lower cost and inconveinience.
